The Odessa Fair is about to celebrate its 188th year of bringing joy, excitement, and community together. To honor the rich history of our fair, we are inviting all photography enthusiasts to participate in the "Capture the Magic of the Past" Photo Contest. Join us in celebrating the memories, moments, and traditions that have shaped the fair over the years.

🌽 Contest Categories:

Animals & Exhibits: Capture the essence of the fair's livestock, horse and cattle shows, and captivating exhibits that showcase the best of our agricultural heritage.

Parade/Midway: Freeze the vibrant colors, creativity, and enthusiasm of the fair's parade or midway

Demo Derby/Tractor Pull: Feel the adrenaline rush as you capture the thrilling moments from the demolition derby or tractor pulls of the past.

🏆 Prizes:

Three winners will be selected at random from each category. Each winner will receive a FREE weekend pass to the 188th Annual Odessa Fair, creating new memories with family and friends!

📅 Contest Timeline:

Submission Period: August 10th – August 21st, 2023

Winner Announcement: August 23rd, 2023

Dig into your archives and find your most captivating, nostalgic, and inspiring photos from past Odessa Fairs.

Choose the category that best fits your photo (Animals & Exhibits, Parade, or Demo Derby).

Email your photo to odessafair1912@gmail.com with the subject line: "Photo Contest Submission - [Category]". Please include your name, contact information, and a brief description of the photo (year if possible!)

📣 Terms and Conditions:

Each participant can submit one photo per category, for a maximum of three submissions.

Submitted photos must be taken at past Odessa Fairs.

By submitting a photo, you grant the Odessa Fair permission to use the photo for promotional purposes, with proper credit to the photographer.

This contest is open to all photography enthusiasts, regardless of age or location.
