Contest Rules & Regulations

1. The derby will start at 1 p.m. sharp. Cars must be on the grounds by 11 a.m. for inspection.

2. All contestants must report to the Officials by 10:00 a.m. to register.

3. Entry fee is $40 if Preregistered or $50 at the gate. This covers the driver of the car and one mechanic. (per car)

4. There will be two hard luck heats to qualify 1st and 2nd place cars to the feature.

5. Drivers and mechanics must be 18 years of age.

6. All drivers must fill out an entry form and waiver.

7. All drivers must supply their own car.

8. Only one driver and one mechanic will be permitted in the pit area per car.

9. ABSOLUTELY NO alcoholic beverages or drugs will be permitted in the pit area or on the track. This will result in immediate disqualification.

10. Only the first 40 cars entered will be accepted.

11. ALL RULES AND REGULATIONS MUST BE OBSERVED AND OBEYED. Event organizers and officials reserve the right to consult any agency or authority they deem necessary to assist in any decisions regarding a participants continued participation in that heat, or future heats.

12. All cars must be removed from fairgrounds immediately after Derby or loaded on trailer ready to go that night.

MAIN heats: 1st wins $100 and trophy, 2nd wins $ 50 and trophy

FEATURE: 1st wins $500 and trophy, 2nd wins $250 and trophy

* Trophy for both full size and minis for best appearing car and best performance.
