Power Wheels Derby

Power Wheels are kids battery operated cars. The point of a Power Wheels Derby is to include and encourage children to get into

the sport of the Derby. Children must have helmets that fit properly, proper clothing and unmodified engines.

We would like to encourage participants to decorate their cars. Prizes will be given out for best decorated. Also we encourage you to drive your car in the parade on Saturday!

Waivers must be signed in advance. We reserve the right to refuse any applicant we deem unsafe. Please remember this is FOR FUN!

Rules:

1. Vehicles are open to any store bought Power Wheels, Pep Prego, etc. Absolutely no home-made or modified cars will

be allowed.

2. Vehicles can be cars, trucks, tractors or ATVs as long as they are not modified. All ATVs and tractors must have leg

protectors if legs are exposed.

3. 6V or 12V batteries only. Batteries must be fastened down securely. No full size car batteries. Golf cart/lawn

tractor/motorcycle will be allowed but must be secured properly.

4. Doors, hoods, trunks, etc. can be wired or zip tied shut, but not mandatory.

5. No locking up rear ends, strengthening bumpers or modifying steering rods. Cars must be stock.

6. Seat belts are highly recommended, especially for little ones who may get out of the cart during the show.

7. All drivers must wear pants, no shorts allowed and long sleeves.

8. Judges decision is final.
